Stage Life: the Photography of Stephanie Berger - As the staff photographer for the Lincoln Center Festival since its inception in 1996, Stephanie Berger (Piermont) brings her stunning images to RoCA in an exhibition that focuses on the visual drama of the stage. Artist Reception January 17 from 1-4 p.m.

Every Tuesday, 4-5 pm ages 8-13
Attendance is open and does not require weekly participation. Come whenever you are free. There will be guest artists each week to offer tips and ideas and help guide students through their art projects. Bring your favorite sketch pad and pencils or use materials that will be available at Hopper House. Bring friends and share ideas, meet with other kids who are art fans and get inspired. Please contact Hopper House if you are interested in attending.
Suggested Fee/Donation: $5.00 per session
First session: January 12, 2010, 4-5 pm, Sandy Levine will be the first guest artists and will offer interesting and fun insights about watercolor.

AMAG Presents: Act Two-Recycled and Transformed - Mary Ann Lomonaco recycles everyday materials into visually arresting and skillfully crafted art objects. Her media includes: discarded clothing, tin cans, matches, beads, clothes pins, labels, roof flashing, bottle caps, plastic bags, kitchen mops, rubber and brass washers, bird feathers and nails:
“My aim for the viewers is to get them to stand in a new place as particpants in the world. To have them realize that something they see daily and never think about as other than something to be disposed, can become something unusual, beautiful, interesting and of valued.”
Artist's Receptions will be held March 7th, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and March 10th, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Regular viewing hours are: Sun., and Mon. 2-4 p.m., Tues. 1-3 p.m. and Wed. 2-3 p.m.
