Art in the Courthouse - Hidden Treasures Gallery
One of the benefits of an ACOR membership is the opportunity to exhibit your work in our newly renovated ACOR Members’ Gallery at the Garner Arts Center and at the Rockland County Courthouse Jurors’ Room Gallery Space.
We in the process of planning the 2019 calendar year, and are seeking submissions from Member Artists who live or work in Rockland County for consideration in one of the following gallery spaces. Learn more
The Artist Registry assists in marketing the work of member artists and is available as a listing on the ACOR web site and through a computerized database that provides referrals to individuals/organizations seeking artistic services. In order to participate in this program the artist must be a current ACOR member.
Professional Development Workshops
On-going series of workshops providing techniques and strategies to address the needs of artists and arts organizations. Workshops have focused on topics such as marketing, grant writing, photographing artwork, audience development, e-mail marketing legal issues, computer classes and more. FREE to Members, $10 for Non-Members
RFQ for Public Art on New New York Bridge
Now through January 11, 2019, ArtsWestchester, in partnership with the New York State Thruway Authority and the Arts Council of Rockland, seeks qualifications from professional New York State artists or artist collectives interested in creating permanent site-responsive works of public sculpture for the Rockland County and Westchester County landings of the shared bicycle and walking path on the new Governor Mario M.
