The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) established the Artists’ Support Fund to support individual Rockland County artists in sustaining their creative practice and/or developing new works of art. Jazz artists, take your music to places it's never been. Jazz Road Tours offer grants of up to $15,000 to develop tours into communities across the country. Jazz Road Tours supports three- to six-site tours at an array of venue types, often in rural communities and other areas traditionally underserved by the genre.

This artist-centric grant program—designed to support approximately 50 tours each year—is made possible with funds from the Doris Duke Foundation with additional support from the Mellon Foundation.


The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan (CFOS) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Make a Difference Grants. This year, the Foundation is expanding the impact of the fund to support nonprofit organizations offering arts and humanities programming that enrich the lives of disadvantaged children and elderly individuals in Orange, Sullivan, and Rockland Counties.

Since its inception in 2003, the Make a Difference Fund has addressed a variety of pressing needs throughout the region, from education to wellness to essentials. For the 2025 grant cycle, CFOS is shining a light on the transformative power of the arts, prioritizing programs that provide meaningful cultural, creative, and educational experiences for children and seniors who might not otherwise have access.

Applications are available online at cfosny.org and must be submitted by July 31, 2025. Awards will be announced by  September 2025.


Humanities New York (HNY) Recurring Grants offers QUICK, VISION, and ACTION GRANTS to New York organizations, municipalities, and tribal governments on a monthly or semi-annual basis. The mission of Humanities New York is to strengthen civil society and the bonds of community, using the humanities to foster engaged inquiry and dialogue around social and cultural concerns.
