The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) coordinates the Rockland Arts Coalition, a group of arts organizations and interested parties who work collaboratively to identify and address issues/concerns that impact the Rockland County arts community and advocate for solutions.
If you are interested in having a voice and sharing your views about the pressing issues facing the Rockland County arts community, then join the Rockland Arts Coalition. We meet quarterly via Zoom and there is no cost to participate.

A Comprehensive Arts & Culture Plan for Rockland County is essential to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and economically thriving community.
Such a plan would provide strategic direction for investing in local artists, cultural institutions, and creative initiatives, while also ensuring equitable access to the arts across all neighborhoods. It would also strengthen arts education, attract tourism, and support small businesses.
