Call for Women Artists: WOMEN’S VOICES - VIRTUAL EXHIBITION
(Previously scheduled for the Courthouse Gallery)
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote and in collaboration with Suffrage-Forward, the Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) invites women to submit artwork addressing the theme of “Women’s Voices.” Suffrage-Forward’s mission is “not only to celebrate women’s right to vote, but to empower women now and in the future and create awareness among all people of the strength and resiliency of girls and women. Originally scheduled for to take place in the Courthouse Gallery in New City in May, Women’s Voices will now presented in our online viewing room. Depending on when the courthouse opens, we may be able to install some of the work there at a later date, in which case we will share separate guidelines for displaying the work there.
To be eligible, artists must be members of ACOR and 18+ years of age. Any sales inquiries will be directed to the artist to personally conduct the transaction.
PLEASE PREPARE THE FOLLOWING FOR YOUR SUBMISSION:
• Up to three high resolution jpg images of work you would like to display
• Title the jpg images with your name and title of work.
• Include an Image List detailing: Title of work, Dimensions, Medium, Year of Completion, Price (or NFS)
