The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) and the Rockland Community Foundation (RCF) today announced that 12 Rockland artists have been awarded a total of $3,500 in grants from the 2021 Artist's Support Fund.

"Congratulations to our member artists who will receive grants from the first round of 2021 funding under the Artist's Support Fund," said Cheryl Baun, Executive Director of ACOR. "This small fund was established as a way to provide funds to support artists’ ongoing practice. Thanks to the tremendous generosity and support of our donors, this funding will, in many instances, help these artists to bring their work from concept to execution."

"The Arts Council of Rockland Artist’s Support Fund, which is a component fund of The Rockland Community Foundation, has made a significant impact in amplifying the work of our community's artists," said Julie Sadowski, Executive Director of the Rockland Community Foundation. "More than ever, the arts are a critical part of our culture and society, and RCF is very proud to steward this fund."
