Local Artist Colleen Vanderhoef has been chosen to create the awards for the 2021 Arts Awards. The piece titled, “Vernal Spring Vessel,” has been commissioned specifically for the event, and each one is handmade and will be given to each honoree and awardee.
“Representative of the everlasting freshness and renewal of life so evident in all artistic efforts and works. Each artist and his / her works attest to the ever reawakening and reimagining of our environment and our place in it.” This quote by C.S. Vanderhoef has been shared by the artist to represent her sentiments about her work.
