FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
GARNERVILLE, N.Y. — The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) is inviting local businesses to play an active role in shaping Rockland County's creative future with the launch of its new Business Partner Membership.
The new membership reflects ACOR's commitment to building stronger connections between the business and arts communities. As ACOR continues to expand its programs and partnerships, the Business Partner Membership offers businesses a meaningful way to support the arts while becoming part of a growing network dedicated to making Rockland County a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
The arts do more than inspire creativity - they drive economic activity. Every exhibition, concert, festival, and cultural event brings people into local communities where they dine, shop, and support local businesses. A thriving arts community helps attract visitors, strengthen downtowns, enhance quality of life, and contribute to a healthy local economy.
"When local businesses invest in the arts, they're investing in the future of Rockland County," said Dorothy Atzl, Executive Director of the Arts Council of Rockland. "The arts help create the kind of community where people want to live, work, and open businesses. Our new Business Partner Membership is about building lasting partnerships that strengthen both our creative community and our local economy. Whether you're a small business, corporation, or community organization, this is an opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to the community while connecting with the people and organizations helping shape Rockland's future."
For an annual membership of $250, Business Partner Members receive year-round recognition through ACOR's marketing channels, opportunities to connect with artists and community leaders, invitations to networking and professional development events, and other opportunities to engage with Rockland County's creative community.
The Business Partner Membership comes at a time of continued growth for ACOR, as the organization expands its programs, strengthens partnerships, and creates new opportunities for artists, organizations, businesses, and residents to connect through the arts.
As the only organization solely dedicated to advancing, supporting, and promoting the arts across all disciplines in Rockland County, ACOR serves as a catalyst for creativity through advocacy, education, grants, exhibitions, networking, and community partnerships.
